Where to visit in Birmingham this Winter

As the winter days bring us closer to the holiday period, it can be harder to find motivation to do the daily grind of work, let alone stepping out of the house to do fun activities at the weekend. Fortunately, we have saved you the thumb work and have compiled a list of fun places to visit in Birmingham this winter:

Birmingham German Market

The famous German Christmas Market in Birmingham is popular enough to rival the real Christmas market in Germany. The market attracts over 5.5 million visitors across the UK every year and is the largest outdoor Christmas market in the UK, and the biggest German market outside Germany. Worried that you won’t have time to go? No problem, the market is open until the 23rd December.

Birmingham Hippodrome THEATRE

Oh yes we did! Grab your friends and head down to the Hippodrome Theatre for a long standing British tradition, the Pantomime. Stare in awe at the heroes and hiss as the villains, for a spectacular experience that has to be witnessed at least once.

Big wheel and ice rink

How about some romantic skating? Impress your date with your spinning skills by visiting Ice Skate Birmingham on Canal Street. Prefer something at a slower pace? Take your date onto the big wheel and enjoy in the beautiful view of Birmingham when you reach the top.

Rainbow Casino

Why go to Birmingham this winter if you’re not going to make the most of Rainbow Casino? This is the place to be over the Christmas period. We have delicious Christmas meals, great games and a bar, as well as canapes and champagne to ring in the New Year. End this year on a great note and visit Rainbow Casino.

Rainbow Casino is an over-18’s venue and promotes responsible gambling & drinking.
