PUNTO BANCO

Something a little bit different but easy to play, this game is sometimes referred to as Baccarat and James Bonds favourite game.

How to play

Decision

There are two main wagers that you can make, you either decide to back the player's hand (Punto) or the Bank's hand (Banco).

The aim of the game is to choose a hand which will get closer to 9 than the other hand.

Tens, picture cards and any combination adding up to 10 count as zero.

E.G.
6 + 4 = 0

Q + 7 = 7

K + 10 = 0
Ace counts as 1.

An additional wager can be made called Egalite which means you think the two hands will be tied and these are paid at 8-1.

On the table you will see two betting areas, one for player (Punto) and one for the Banker (Banco) simply place your bet on one of these areas. Winning player hands are paid at even money and winning Banker hands are paid at 19-20.

There are certain drawing rules which must be adhered to:

Punto Banco Side Bet
Dragon Bonus

The Dragon Bonus adds a little more excitement to the game. You are betting on how many points the winning hand beats the losing hand by.

This is an optional bet and you can back either the Punto or the Banco hand irrespective of whether or not you have made another bet.

An un-natural winner is where the hand wins but requires a third card to be dealt to it. If you have backed the winning hand on the dragon bonus bet and it is an un-natural winner you will be paid at the odds below but if the winning hand wins by less than 4 your dragon Bonus bet loses.

Wins by 9 points 20 -1
Wins by 8 points 8 -1
Wins by 7 points 7-1
Wins by 6 points 4 -1
Wins by 5 points 3 -1
Wins by 4 points 1 - 1

A natural winner is paid at even money and natural tied hands are a standoff.

PUNTO BANCO EGALITÉ

UR WAY EGALITÉ’ is an additional optional wager for the game of Punto Banco.

Players must place a standard wager on either the Player, the Banker or Egalité, in order to place a ‘UR WAY EGALITÉ’ side wager.

The wager is that the two hands will be of an equal specific score, (i.e. an individual Egalité).

The individual Egalités are a tie of a single number. Neighbour Egalités are ties of that number and the next ascending four numbers. Full House bets cover all Egalité numbers.

The wager will win if that specific individual Egalité has been wagered on.

All other Individual Egalité bets not associated with the winning Individual Egalité will be lost to the House.

If the result of the hand is not an Egalité, all wagers on UR Way Egalité will be lost to the House.
